ANOTHER FANTASTIC MAHAVISHNU COMPILATION!
As many of you know, back in 2008 ESC Records released "Mahavishnu Re-Defined". The two-disc set included tracks by Billy Cobham & The HR Big Band, Mitch Forman, Jim Beard, Dennis Chambers, The Mahavishnu Project and many others. The first set was such a success that ESC has now released a second volume. "Mahavishnu Re-Defined II" will feature another double CD compilation featuring tracks by incredible artists such as Surinder Sandhu featuring Steve Vai, Chris Massey, David Torn, Allen Hinds, George Colligan, Steve Topping, Kai Eckhardt, Michael Manring and others. This time around, The Mahavishnu Project has contributed their high intensity take on "One Word/Resolution" featuring vocalist Melissa Stylianou. This exciting new set will be released and available on May 28th.

MAHAPROJECT & GENTLE GIANT?!?
Pretty darn close. It's called Three Friends and it includes original Giant guitarist Gary Green and Malcolm Mortimore (drummer from the GG classic "Three Friends" album) with a full band playing some incredible music from the Gentle Giant catalogue. This is their first American tour and The Mahavishnu Project is excited and honored to be sharing the stage with them on June 20th at The Keswick Theatre in Glenside PA. Tickets are now on sale.

THE RETURN OF THE MAHAVISHNU TRIO PROJECT!
The Mahavishnu Trio Project has returned. This time out Gregg Bendian will be joined by Neil Alexander and Chad McLoughlin. The trio will perform two shows and will for the first time feature original compositions in addition to its usual fare of Mahavishnu, Lifetime, Jan Hammer and of course, some special surprises!

FIRST SHOW OF 2010!
The Mahavishnu Project will present it's first show of 2010 on March 6th at Regattabar in Boston. The band will perform a "Best of M.O. and The John McLaughlin Songbook" set.
